well i've only ever made 2 amvs but i did them at the same time. The shorter one was just a lil thing i thought i'd make but i couldn't find the rite music to go with it, so i made an other amv *inuyasha* and at the same time made the shorter one.

Though i dun think i would recomend doing 2 prope ones at the same time, i once did this to a simerler thing (not amvs) and i had to force myself to finish it, i felt bad coz i really couldn't be bothered.

As a general rule I try not to work on more then one at a time. Though right now I'm working with two at once. I've done so in the past as well.

humm well if you already know how to make amvs and don't really find it hard then you should make to at once.

If this was a year ago I'd say that I only do one project a year, but this year I've started and put on hold three videos and currently have the footage ready for another three. Actually four, I got another idea today :P.

Like others, I just kinda lose steam on some ideas and need to do something else for awhile. Given "awhile" has been a few months and I haven't edited in forever, but no biggie.

I'd rather make something I like than limit myself to one at a time or forcing stuff out to get to another idea ya know?

I usually work on a lotta projects at once, so I can just open up whatever I feel like doing at a given time. at the moment I have about 6 projects in the works 3 of them I'm not sure if i'll finish and 2 I was close to getting done. The last I'm probably going to focus my efforts on once I free up some HD space. Lack of HD space seems to kill my motivation for awhile, don't like deleting anything as I think I may return to it.

Awesome. Great insight and opinions. Thanks everyone.

I've almost reached the 1 minute mark on my video. I think I've built up steam again now that it's starting to take a tangible form. :D

However, I also like the thought of creating the framework for my second AMV. I have all the DVD source material and narrowed it down to 3 songs. I just need to rip it. It might be a good idea to switch it up if I hit a wall working on my current one. I agree that something like this shouldn't be forced since it really is a labor love.

Thanks again.

In the past few years, I've done multiple videos at a time. Probably because of all the projects popping up.
