I'm generally subjected to being called a nerd and I'm a fan of making AMVs but my sibling isn't a nerd and he'd also a fan though he has only made two...

I don't think enjoying anime at any age is dorky. I remember when you checked the tubes in the TV if it didn't work, when people wondered who this Elvis guy was, when radio was AM band, when all the stores closed on Sunday, when computers were huge things that only big buisness could afford. We have come a long way in half a century. I saw my first anime in my late 40's and made my first amv when I was 52. I hope to be watching them for my next half century.

You are amazing people living in an amazing age.
Where did you say I'm going?.... And what am I doing in a handbasket?

Hey oldwrench, I'm a "youngin" who's into all the music in your videos ('cept The Beach Boys). :P

But I won't change my mind... we're both dorky.

I wonder what the average age of AMVers is?

Once you get to a certain age, words like "dork"
don't mean much. Everyone is using all of their
energy to scrape what little dignity they can out
of their corporate bullshit job and attempting to
gain some semblance of joy out of their short,
insignificant, bullshit life to care who calls them
a "dork".

Of course, that could just be me.

Auron is 32 and I'm a tad older (a lady never reveals her age) We both take editing too seriously, eg. our Computers are under 5 feet from the kitchen table........your right, thats dorky......but at this age, you don't care.
We have 5 children, and we needed a new hobby jk

If you're 60 and making Naruto and DBZ amv's, you qualify as patetic
So as long as you avoid this combo (add to that LP) all will be good?

and rock on oldwrench
