I try to watch as many as i can, while hanging upside down from my ceiling, on full screen, with long corded Studio Headphones before the blood rushes to my head causing me to pass out. :D

How I watch it kind of depends on the moment and the mood I'm in. Like after a long tiring day at school, I don't care where or how: just give me an AMV!

Still, I prefer watching them:

1) No headphone. They are annoying and make my ears itch.

2) Medium screen. Small takes too much stress from the eyes and large... Well... Somehow the AMV's don't look so good in that format.

3) Alone, although when an AMV is really good, I'll grab my sister and show it to her. She does it the same way, so we both get to see the best the other has downloaded. We have totally different taste, so I guess this works best ^_^

4) Music hard. Soft is for softies... I like my music just hard enough I don't hear anything else anymore. Still, no so hard that it's blasting around...

5) Dusk or dimmed light. Bit of sunlight is never wrong, but I like watching them in the shadow. Still, totally black is not that nice. Makes that it hurts my eyes (and I can't see that well when it's dark :( )

6) A couple in a row. When I have a new one, I watch it straight away, but if I sit down to watch AMV's, I put about 10 on, the ones most fitting my mood. I like it when the music is nice, closing my eyes and listen (and still see the AMV in my mind :D )

Still, in the end it doesn't matter all that much, as long as I get to see an AMV once a day ^_^

I'll try to get at least 5 at a time (unless i'm getting a vid spicifically from a creator I follow) and begin to watch. If fullscreen produces a horible quality I shrink the window and go into perterbed anylitical mode. If it dosn't peak my interest enough to continue watching (which would be anything that has subs, horrible/no synch, or no real flow I immediately close it and either add it to torture pile (honest OP folder) or Simply delete it. Any vid that gets deleted before i can finish it gets a 1.

Having such high standards (and a harddrive that always seems to be shrinking), I usually keep only the best videos i download and often show them to friends whenever i fee the need to. Most are willing to watch some AMVs even if they're not really into anime that much because i tend to only show them the crem de la crem as it were.

The device i use is an older Dell notebook, so the viewing angle is tad problimatic for group viewing. To remedy that, i keep all my AMVs on an external HDD that can be just plugged into anyone's computer that has a better viewing situation than mine.

Usually just leave WMP in its window and set the video to fit the screen, instead of fullscreen, and either have my headphones on or listen at a medium tone with the speakers

Only sometimes when I watch a video that I really like, or am showing to someone else do I put an AMV at fullscreen.. and turn up the volume..
