What are some really fast paced action AMV's and why is my shortest AMV the one that people like the most?(stupid question, but i still want to know).

Two possible answers for both:

1) Instant gratification.

2) Short attention spans.

What to say, a lot of people don't like to 'work' for their enjoyment, so to speak. The easier an AMV is to swallow and the more immideately flashy it is, the more agreeable it is to them.

Some people are the other way, and like having to really pick apart an AMV to even really get it. But these people aren't in the majority. If they were, the two popular 'types' of videos you mentioned wouldn't be as popular as they are.

my fast paced vid seems to be the most popular... i am going to have to agree with the short attention span thing

search for videos by tsukin... his studio mate spike has some awesome ones as well.
