Really dude, If you hate this idea, then dont post. We all know that you hate the japanese language, but that's YOUR problem. I know im not as good at saying these things in a kind manner as other people are, but this is how I do things. This thread is about an idea for a video, so if you have no suggestions, don't post.

Back on topic....

I've noticed quite a few edits in the dub version of Naruto, such as the crappy translations, and the removal of all blood that squirts, even if it's just a bloody nose. Ive noticed in one piece they made a black character white, and he looks rediculously stupid. As for the edits in Gundam SEED, such as the part where

SPOILER

Nichol gets chopped in half, but they completly removed the entire scene

and the parts where Genesis and the cyclops system go off, creating human baloons. Damn, i loved those scenes.... Stupid Bandai

NOTE: Not all of these animes are liscensed by Funimation, I think only one was. I was just posting bad or annoying edits.

i dont think its a matter hate/love of dub, and not a matter of hating the work put into it, its more a matter of them cutting things and taking away from anime that they release...

The dubber to work hard but some of the companys take too much freedom in changing the anime.. I mean... I liek the original Jap YGO but I cannot stand the english version... I t does console me they release uncut versions but most people prefer subs to dubs. Personally i will not take any sides because some anime and manga have been completely ruined by being translated into english and others are better in english. I DO know how hard they work I am aquainted with quite a few voice actors and producers from multiple companies.

If you're going to mock 4kids, use ONE PIECE footage

ONE PIECE has the worst dub of all time, made by 4kids.

I donno if its specifically 4kids, but I've heard that Naruto was pretty chopped up.. o.0

but if they release a un cut version i am sure that the fans would be alright with it.

It's all in fun, and I think this is mainly directed at the edits and censorings etc. I enjoy dubs as they bring an anime to our shores (for free!)

I understand Shaman King got some chops - (Removal of crosses, etc) Never saw original, so don't know anything.

Naruto was licensed by Viz, not 4kids. From what I've seen of naruto's dub, not a lot was cut, other than name changes for techniques.

Anyways, I stand by my comment about the OP dub.

Yes its true, they attached a big red ball to one end.
