Do you only download video's when you know who the editor is

Well, when I'm looking in the announcement forum I'm clicking on the threads which have a title that sound interesting. I don't hesitate to download AMVs from unknown editors, I download the AMVs where I like the Anime or the song which is used.

I almost never* read the announcements forum. I prefer to super search for 'comedy' and 'fun' videos. Then I have to like the concept. (No Dragonball or Hellsing video is funny no matter what the artist claims.

)

There are a few creators I will watch no matter what, once I hear they have something new...Zarx, Godix, Dax, Jubjub2, MJ, and Foxjones.

*Did stop by today...have to check out a couple I just found out about.

Same here, well mostly, since If I see Editor "X" made a new video I get interested since I might like some of his other videos and / or know him via aim or #amv then I click the thread and check what it's about then it depends on how much I value the person the source combo or the feedback he already got.

I'm the same way. I have to say, though, some random downloads have produced suprising results, and a couple of favorites.

I also like hanging out in the Opinions Forum and being exposed to new or unknown-to-me editors. From that, I have a few 'regulars' that I download anything from that's listed in the Announcements Forum.

Yep. Or if it just sounds weird. I always check out the videos that I could never visualize. Hehe.

Though when I scan the AMV announcements I usually tend to pick out vids by creators I recognize and enjoy before the others.

A real title, non-overused anime, description written with at least some thought and a decent compression format (read: not WMV

) usually get me into downloading.

In a way, I do download by the names of people but I recognize a shitload of people here, but somewhat differently. I have seen videos from every single person who posted in this topic......except BrennaCeDria and ya know what? I'm downloading her Hemisphere AMV right now.

I love to download from creators I know but I also like to get to know more about other creators by downloading their vids if I haven't seen any of theirs.

I usually download vids from people who have banners linking to them in there forum sig.

I usually download videos when I see a title, or an anime/music combo (9/10 times an anime/hip-hop, R&B, rap combo) that interests me. If I like what I see, then I might check out other videos by that creator.

Other than that, I most likely wont download, regardless of who the creator is, whether they be new, established, veteran, legend, or otherwise. Unless it's a hentai video.
