a little help please....
Hey Everyone, my videos have kindof sucked, but I would like to do another Devil May Cry Video and make it look really good. I have lots of Ideas and my computer has like two thousand songs on it but I'm having trouble putting one and one together. Anyone out there got any good ideas? Also I was wondering some people did't like when I used some of the gameplay in my last video, Is there some unspoken rule on not using gameplay in a video? Also is there is some software out there thats cheap and user friendly? Windows Movie maker has been alright but it doesn't have much in the department of effects...I tried Adobe premiere about three months ago but I'm still trying to figure it out, I'm usually pretty competent when it come to comuters but this just makes me feel stupid. I you like, check out some of my video entries and let me know what you think...please?

Hmm...well, you're really asking several different things here, so I'm not really sure which forum this belongs in. Still, I'm going to tackle them one at a time.
Well, I hope that this answers your questions. Like I said, you really asked a lot of them in one post, but that's okay. It's better to ask and be sure than to go on without knowing, ya know? ^_~

Firstly, this part of your post would have been best suited to the AMV Suggestions forum. However, my best advice woule be to try any idea that you think even remotely works. Just edit the first thirty seconds or so. If it stops being interesting, trash it and move onto the next idea. If you have a lot of ideas like you say, then I'm sure something will eventually click for you.I have lots of Ideas and my computer has like two thousand songs on it but I'm having trouble putting one and one together. Not exactly, but if the entire video is comprised of gameplay footage, then people get uppity. However, I think the reason they had a problem with it is because seeing the lifebar and whatnot is really distracting. It's kind of like having subtitles or a logo from fansubs in a video. You can really obviously tell when the footage suddenly looks different. Is there some unspoken rule on not using gameplay in a video?
For this, I would like to suggest that you read over this thread. I think it'll help you out. Also is there is some software out there thats cheap and user friendly?
For this, you should try the Opinion Exchange forum. Lots of nice folks there that are willing to give you feedback in return for some. Also, if you post there, you can ask people to focus their critique in a certain aspect of your video, if you think that may be the problem area. I've found it can be very helpful.I you like, check out some of my video entries and let me know what you think...please?
