I rembember the final countdown one being between the dozens of videos I downloaded when I discovered AMVs.

Actually I just wanted to say that your Nadesico amv rocks, I love that oldschool feeling it has

Have you made more videos other than those two or do you plan on making more AMVs again from now on? If so I'll be glad to see them

...Who ever had the idea of putting those poorly photoshopped spinning images of Shinji, Asuka and Rei in the Final Count Down Remake should be SHOT.

Yes, I did wonder about that. I also wonder about a couple of the transitions... and that little explosion around the Second Impact clip... And if this is Renewal footage then I'll eat every single Eva DVD I own.

I'd be interested in seeing the original anyway. I noticed in the Engel remake (the one with the production Eva fight stretched to 4:3-- ouch) that they used a different clip at one point.

I'd also like to know why the video quality is crap yet it's 110mb. o_O Ya know, really does that 'DivX... I MEAN XVID' intro, which suggests XVID is superior, next to no justice... Infact, it more or less suggests XviD is crap.

Yeah, I'm flattered that someone saw fit to remake it... but man, how to kick me in the groin!

I hate transitions and digital effects. All my videos used two things: cut and fade. Fade to black, fade to white, cut, repeat. That's about it.

I'm pondering remaking The Final Countdown properly. I also have a few other ideas that have been sitting in my brain for oh, 5 years now...

TED! How have you been man... I swear they should make an old fart forum for any amv creators that made something 10+ years ago. How dated we are... how sad we have become remembering the old days. HAHA I keep saying I will get up off my bleep and make some videos, but freelance keeps getting in the damn way!
