There's never an excuse for a shitty vid. The video quality doesn't matter so much to me as the quality of the editing and the amount of work put into it. If you're a lazy bastard, I'll ride your vid all the way into the fucking mud.
I road your mom into the mud, OOOOOOOOOOOOHHHHHHHHHHHHHH

I just watched the newest video by the original poster.

DivX logo, subtitles, aspect ratio messed up and sections of the video looked to be extreamly low bitrate (Think 'YouTube') which are inconsistant with the compression quality of the rest of the AMV, leading me to think the footage was stolen from another Inuyasha AMV that was uberlow bitrate and ALSO included subtitles.

And the video itself seems like random mushy scenes to somewhat dramatic music...

There's a very simple way to avoid stupid opinions...

Stop making sucky vids... Right? At least, that's what I thought is the cure for such an illness

if there is an illness...
"Strength lies in action. Let the weak react to me..." - Kamahl, Pit Fighter from Magic: the Gathering
"That is a mistake many of my enemies make. They think before they act. I act before I think!" - Vortigern from Merlin ('98)
"I AM REBORN!" - Dark Schneider Bastard!! OAV

ZOMG

WIN FOR IRON LUNG

And yeah, I kind of don't get why this thread is still around. It's not like it isn't something we've heard for years.

"Oh, I'm new, and although I am unwilling to learn how to do the best I can with the resources that I have, you shouldn't be allowed to point that you, because it's mean and it hurts my feelings, and the whole reason for me doing these videos was to get attention so I'd feel better about myself. So, please, just tell me what I want to hear, and read between the lines of my requests for constructive criticism."

Cry me a river.

I must admit this is the most amusing thing I have read today. It is so true.

So what do you do when you want to see if someone likes something you've created but want to avoid major flaming? Just curious...

Apparently this thread is amusing the mods. It's made its point, she gets the picture, and it has boiled down to people flaming, making a point that has already been made a billion times and that she already gets, and just random off-topic posts. They have acknowledged the thread at least twice, once when the mod hopped in a few posts ago and once when I pointed it out in the Mod Drop box saying they might want to lock this since it really isn't doing anything. It hasn't been locked yet, so apparenly, someone is amused. Oh well. It's fun to have fun!!!

[MOD432: The reason I didn't lock this thread before wasn't to humiliate the original poster. The thread itself did not break any of the forum rules and did not warrant a lock. The spam derailment of the thread was not a necessary consequence of the thread itself, but a decision made by forum users. However, in order to avoid any further embarassment for any of the posters, the thread will be locked.]
