Question about an AMV

I found a pretty good AMV the other day, though it was in flash format and uncredited to anyone. I converted it to AVI and added a higher quality version of the song.

Would it be reasonable to upload it to a-m-v.org even though I didn't make it? There must be some way for going about this. I got it off the /azu/ imageboard, for anyone wondering.

if you didnt make it you shouldnt upload it or even list it... you should find the creator and attempt to get them to do it themselves...

Well for one, its clearly by a Japanese

In that case, I'll just keep it to the imageboard. Wanted to check here though.

I agree with Jadd on that. Though if you can't find them and you really want to share that, you could always stick the link in your profile and say something like "Hey, I didn't do this but it's so cool I had to share. If you did this, let me know." or something like that. BTW, I watched it, and that was really cute. And I must say, someone has way too much time on their hands. lol.

from what im told, i believe thats why the japanese call them "MADs" cause you would have to be mad to spend that much time on it O.o

I wouldn't be surprised if a lot of this ASCII art was taken from Japanese boards like 2ch though. If the AMV maker actually made it all, now that would freak the hell out of me

Go to [Mod22: Removed NSFW Link] and click on the "Dance" link in the area below the posting boxes. Its a flash vid: I converted it to an AVI and replaced the audio with much higher quality (as the original was low bitrate 11khz mono).

Note: /azu/ is supposed to be a worksafe board, but every once in a while some 4chan tard comes and posts something that isn't appropriate and it takes time for it to be deleted, so I cannot guarantee work-safe-ness

Yyyyyeah, I think someone's molesting Chiyo-chan's dog in one of those shots. Not G-rated. And I get the feeling it'd be much worse if I could read Japanese.

Interestingly, there's some Yotsuba&! in there for no apparent reason. Cute.

The Japanese are soley the lyrics to the song: nothing else.

Yotsuba's in there because Yotsuba is an Azumanga character: that is, a character in a manga by Azuma
