I've seen all the FMA series, but I have like, three episodes taped, so I can't make FMA AMVs myself. It's a shame, cause I just got this idea that no one has done yet. So if anyone is taking requests for FMA AMVs, and is willing to do this justice, I'd be willing to give you the song.
It's an Edward Elric tribute, which is, obviously, not original, but as opposed to the endless Linkin Park and Green Day vids out there, this is an Edward tribute to the song "Proud of Your Boy," a Clay Aiken song that was deleted from the Disney film "Aladdin."
Now, this song doesn't reflect Ed verbatim, but I think the spirit of the song, as well as the voice, fits and it's a beautiful song. Anyway, it's different from the typical angsty "walk the broken path," Ed videos out there. Reflects on Ed's regrets about his mother. The lyrics are below:
As you can see, some lines don't fit so well. "goof-off," "perfect like dad." But some lines are great, "wasted time, wasted me," "I can't make myself taller," "make good, cross my stupid heart." Anyway, I would be OVERJOYED if someone could take this concept and make it work, so if you like the idea, please-please-please tell me, and I will send you the song to use, unless you have it yourself, which would be peachy.
