October = Month of the AMV?

Post by Aria Mournesong » Wed Nov 01, 2006 1:50 am

I think I've added more AMVs to my collection this month than I have all year.

Has anyone else noticed the large outcropping of really well-made AMVs this month? I mean usually it's average AMV, average AMV, average AMV, big hit from one of the signature AMV artists. But I've seriously added almost 20+ AMVs in the last few weeks.

...I'm scared and yet excited. And my hand hurts from all the Ops >.<

October is the post-AWA period where everyone's Pro and/or Expo vids get released. AND the month where the people who missed the AWA deadlines finally finish up their videos and release them. :P

Plus you get the videos from Connichi (one week before AWA) which didn't get immediately released, and videos from Manifest which is on the same weekend as AWA.

All in all, a fun time for everyone...
