What's your favorite anime to make AMVs from and why?
I most enjoy making AMVs of Ojamajo Doremi and Princess Tutu. They're my two favorite series, along with Cardcaptor Sakura. Also, the encodes on their DVDs are really good, so I don't have to do a lot of frame-by-frame editing source editing at the beginning (which is a very lazy reason. ) Ojamajo Doremi has the added benefit of being a very long series, which means I don't have to repeat footage in different AMVs.
Also, of what anime series' do you enjoy watching AMVs of?
I love AMVs made from magical girl series, as well as other shoujo anime. My favorites to watch are Ouran, Princess Tutu, KaleidoStar, Cardcaptor Sakura, Sailormoon, Utena, and Doremi. Although it's not shoujo, Azumanga videos are up there, too. I'm also fond of Le Portrait de Petite Cossette AMVs, which seems rather odd, because the horror series is so unlike the other series I favor.
Do you make vids of series' other then Anime?
No. I've thought about using RPG cutscenes, but I haven't bothered to learn how to rip them. I don't like downloading scenes, due to various issues.

Umm... if you have a look at my profile, I don't particularly have a favourite. In fact, as much as I can, I try to avoid using the same anime that I've already made a video to. I do have certain anime that I love and I've made videos to 6 out of 10 of those in my list (but not my top 2... not yet ;) ).

Eh... whatever I'm currently watching and whatever impressed me in the past.

I've made some video games stuff, some live action and promotional trailer videos for conventions and events... so I guess to answer your question; yes.

Well, me personally, I like making DBZ vids. I've also made some Naruto and InuYasha ones

My favorite ones to watch are any videos where a lot of work has been put into them, though I do prefer mostly the non-mainstream anime AMVs. There's just too much DBZ and Naruto stuff. I just saw one of Paranoia Agent that I loved.

Non anime ones: I've made a few Hannibal Lecter videos. Hannibal Lecter is one of my favorite characters in any series (as if you couldn't tell) ( <-- This smiley is REALLY disturbing.)
I've also made a few Disney ones and uploaded them to YouTube.

anime which most people would not know about because they are currently fansubbed and won't be licensed for a another year. This is because I like newer animes over older ones, more exciting and it's also more fun to do an AMV to an anime which does not have many AMVs to it yet since you can really claim an idea as your own. Seriously, like I'm sick of NGE AMVs, especially when there are a lot of better mecha animes from 2005-2007 =)

Favorite anime to work with - Personally, out of the stuff I've worked with, I prefer to work with the Universal Century Gundam titles. One part due to personal preference, one part they give you a large selection to work with in terms of characters/storylines/etc so it leaves you with quite a number of options (can anything be done with it? I wouldn't go that far, but it's still surprisingly versatile if you have no objection to using an older series for source.)

Also, I just enjoy pimping out the timeline to people who normally wouldn't give it a look, so that's a nice bonus for me.

...come to think of it, that's a big part of why I generally enjoy using older titles, really. Gives 'em a chance for people who normally wouldn't consider them to finally give them a look-see (albeit in a sometimes rather twisted lens, but I digress...)

As for non-anime vids. As of this point no, although I've had, oddly enough, a Godfather video idea on the burner thinking of finally taking a crack at this summer now that I've finally got my hands on the trilogy.

I like using the anime I know the best, like Full Metal Alchemist or Neon Genisis Evangelion. But I find it that some of the better videos have anime that arn't as main stream as other (Ones that haven't aired on Cartoon Network / [Adult Swim])

Evangelion Cause I've memorized the series but I've been thinking of using ble gender or Full metal panic.

i like mecha
If you want a series to be longer just write fanfiction!(but don't make anyone read it)
