You won't find a thing to view.
Nobody's gonna look at You(tube).

Your dots hanging limp at your sides.
Your hexagons got nothing to do.
Some program creating them for you.

In the year 6565
Ain't gonna need no AE, won't need no Pro.
You'll pick your song, pick your anime too.
Press the button and it plays for you. Whoa-oh

In the year 7510
If Godix is comin, he oughta make it by then.
Maybe he'll look around himself and say.
"What the fuck, you must be gay".

In the year 8510
Godix shakes his mighty head.
He'll either say: "Are you a wonder twin?"
Or it ends up in recycle bin. Whoa-oh

In the year 9595
I'm kinda wonderin if Brad is gonna be alive.
He's taken a Canadian from her home.
And he ain't edited since. Whoa-oh

For what we never knew,
Now AMV's reign is through.

But through eternal nights.
The twinkle of monitor lights.
So very far away.
Maybe it's only yesterday.

I remember the forums being very busy when I first joined the org.
Since then, I've noticed activity has slowly decreased each year.

Based on that, there was probably a peak <= 2006

Also:
Forum wrote:"Most users ever online was 436 on Mon Jan 24, 2005 8:47 pm"
... I think that's a pretty good indication of a peak... at least for the org...
I wish I could have been there. Was there something special about that date/time?

I asked the same thing some time ago, and iirc, the conclusion was bots, or something along those lines.

You make it sounds like the world of anime fan made videos revolves around this website > lol. AMVs/MADs/whatever name you want to give to fan made videos are still flourishing and growing, the ORGs community started dissolving then perhaps, but thats a completely different topic...maybe you can ask yourself why people would want out of this community. Obviously not because it's a good one.

I was aware of that:

So either it did peak around that time, or the AMV-scene started to disperse elsewhere... (which is what I gather you are implying)
