I do it for the captive audience... nothing beats 7 1/2 minutes of kite at awa7. You can't buy this stuff people...

I haven't even sent a video of mine to a Con to date. I don't think any of them are good enough yet, but that's beside the point.

Akon, Otakon, and AWA have non competiting showings if you feel that you don't want to compete in the acutal competition. Anything goes in those.

I don't like competitions since I think it makes me focus differently. Entering a competition would be great, but I worry about things too much and I get too nervous haha. I'd be biting my nails or something. Anyway...I think I might send my new video to the AWA expo just so it can be seen. I want to at least see my work up on a big screen once.

I know, I have no ambition, but contests are just not really what amving is about for me.

Ok...

I FIRST thought winning cons was a "must". It'd be fun to have more trophies than martial arts ones... Also, the thought of making an ultimatum dance vid [Odorikuruu's evil rapist] was on my mind for a while. The will to win and GOOD TIMING to create a music video that "moved with the music" was my goal and thus, "Feel the Rhythm" was born. [ah the memories, my pride and joy *sniffle]

Now, it's like, "I'm sure people think I don't suck" so winning will come when it will. It's fun now. [not the editing part, watching the finished product. I HATE editing...
