No, but the server does need money in order to keep running. Payment is voluntary but without it the server will get shutdown.

That is pitiful, how could you come in here and use language like that? Things arnt free in life and if i was phade i would most likely REQUIRE a payment inorder to get acces to the server HE is paying for. However Phade is an extremely nice person and allowing the payment method to be completely donations. Which meens there will of course be leeches. But sense some members see that what phade is trying to do and extremely grateful that they dont have to spend a LOT more money on an alternite way of hosting, they donate.

If ANYTHING you should of made a thread as a praise, and not as a complaint. Shame on you.

Jeeze, this degenerated quickly. The problem isn't donations, people, it's a site error. Don't worry, Ruroni_kenshin711, I got the same error over 5 times in the last 24hrs. Just download a different local vid and when you go back to the other one it should work fine. I think it's a minor bug, it comes and goes at random. It's a pars error, right? ^_^ Nothing to do with donations. Donations are voluntary, no one is forced to do it, no one has a right to yell at people who don't do it - that's what makes it voluntary. Phade isn't going to force anyone to pay - you can do it if you choose to (and get special privileges if you do), but you don't have to. That's one of the reasons the org is such a *nice* place.

And if you get the error again, just hit the stop button and try changing the number - if it's 2272, change it to 2273 - if that starts to download, you can just skip the vid and come back to it later - it should be available within an hour or so. I haven't had that error last more than 2hrs at most for any of the vids I've seen it with lately. ^_^
