Yeah, Mr. Roboto was Styx

Although on the subject of Queen, I'm still amazed no one's done a vid with 'Gimme The Prize (Kurgen's Theme)' yet

Also, kind of surprised Alice Cooper's 'School's Out' hasn't been touched yet...

I just did a search, because I got the greatest ideas for a "Trigun" AMV, and my idea hasn't been done yet!

Imagine if you will...

Has anyone used the "Batman" theme (you know, the 60's tv show theme) yet? I could just see the battle between Shinji and the 14th Angel dubbed with the "Batman" theme, and have all the effects (Pow, Kazowwee, Bam!) spliced in at appropriate moments.

Meanwhile, Gendo would be dubbed over with Adam West's voice, and Fuyutski would do nothing but say "Holy calamities, Batman!" Misato would make a perfect Catwoman, and Kensuke would come off perfectly as the Riddler!

I'm sure I could dig up enough of the episodes in my stockpile to piece together some appropriate lines from the narrator's (aka the producer's) cliffhanger speeches to fit for the end of that episode. Perhaps the one where Batman and Robin are being coated in fiberglass, and cured into surfboards?

Shinji reminds me of robin, he should just slap on the tights and he'd fit the part of the whiny 60's sidekick/gay lover.

A number of my vids have unused songs, a few of them being classics, or so I'd thought. I've used 'Little Bitty Pretty One' by Thurston Harris (my first vid), 'Dreams Come True' by Lone Justice, 'Into the Mystic' by Van Morrison, two oldies by Bobby Darin, and even a song by Police. :?

There seem to be a lot of old songs that haven't been used, probably for good reason...

Oh!
The Charmed theme hasn't been touched, surprizingly.

Well, I can do it, but I can't put it on the web. I only have some crappy shareware version of Avid Videoshop 2.0, which doesn't give me the option to save it as an MPEG, or another, more efficient version.

Another crazy idea I had, was dubbing in the soundtracks from some "Star Trek" (TOS, not TNG) episodes. It would be funny to see the battle with Israfel done with the monster fight theme (you know, the one they use every time Kirk is running around without a shirt, fighting a guy in a really bad lizard costume). I could even use the "Vena's Dance" theme (the one from "The Cage", with the dancing green slave girl) for some of the over-done fan service with Asuka.
