what a nice amv to start with.

the first ones i saw were a Macross plus video to Cake's 'The Distance'
and then Brad DeMoss' Ah My Goddess - Goo Goo dolls - 'Iris', both of which my friend showed me.

next i saw a 10 MB dbz-korn video i dl'd off kazaa er maybe morpheus. and i was exposed to the dark side of amvs.

My firsts were all a bunch of shitty Linkinball videos. I didn't care, however, since the only reason I was downloading these was to get some DB video clips.

Then I saw a semi-decent one.
I like bugging people. Deal with it.

now imagine your pain is a white ball of healing light, that's right, your pain, the pain itself, is a white ball of healing light

Not sure what was the very first ever, but I started from d/ling stuff from bigmog.com (when there was an actual site there). Came for the game MP3s, stayed for the AMVs. 8)

First amv I ever saw, and the amv that got me join this site at all was Rubyeyes SHELLSHOCK. I saw it at the Animazement amv contest.

That is definitely one of my five favorite AMVs of all time.

But the first video I ever saw was either Doki's Right Now or Rubyeye's Dark Legacy. I can't remember which I saw first. I know it was the same day.

My first AMV I saw was one created by Mirai MM a LONG TIME ago. I believe the song was Gloria by Megumi Hayashibara that used clips from Cardcaptor Sakura. At those times, I had 56K modem so I was stuck with Real Player formats. Then I started to download most of the videos at Mirai MM's site as time goes by, and then I discovered the Org. Good times. 8)
