Otakon deadline too soon, need footage, no money...

Here's an idea Vic,

Instead of spending all that money...why don't you just browse your massive Anime Collection and just try to make something like this:

Vicbond's Anime Collection + Originality - Tacky Effects - Crowd Pleaser + Otakon Deadline = A video for Otakon.

Unless you want to go back to your Otakon roots:

Vicbond's Anime Collection - Originality + Tacky Effects - Crowd Pleaser + Otakon Deadline + Backstreet Boys song = The biggest humiliation at an AMV Contest.

Carlos, you know that wasn't really necessary and a bit asshole-ish to do.

Anyway, somewhat related, but I agree with Vic on the deadline. I've already talked to the person in charge a number of times and posted in the thread and hopefully they will change it. He did say in the mailing list that it was tentative. IIRC last year's deadline was May 31st or something which gives people more than a month to edit with.

I'd much rather have that considering all the things I need to do prior to Acen (May 15th).
