I tend to at least think my videos are decent (except the two I warn people about in my profile *shudders*). My newer ones I really like, because even if they don't have all the different things people like to watch in AMVs, they have at least one aspect, which gives me hope of being able to integrate all those things into one, seamless video sometime in the hopefully-not-so-distant future. The rest of them I admire for the concept behind them, even if they didn't come out anything like I'd planned. The only two early videos I really sit back and admire are 'Nerv' Trouble and Eva Stripped (not meaning to plug here, but I have to be kind of specific, since I have a lot of videos in my 'early' category). 'Nerv' Trouble had the editing down, and was really good because of the fact I only used VirtualDub to make it, and Stripped had the mood all the way (even though it's editing is only decently passing, to say the least). I'd actually like to try my hand at re-doing the Stripped concept in a video with better editing, but there are still other things on my agenda that take priority. I guess I should wrap it all up by saying that, 'the more ambitious my video projects are, the better they turn out.' Basically because my early videos were only half-developed concepts, and all but one were executed in a similar fashion. When I started on the über-ambitious Dreamscape series, my level of editing skill skyrocketed, even if a good portion of it was that I switched to using Premiere, and took the time to use Premiere intricately.

I don't list my videos in my favorites because I really don't like plugging myself (besides, I have all 100 slots filled), and I want the videos I like from other people to get exposure, since about ½ to ¾ of them aren't famous videos.

I enjoy most of my trailers compared to most of my videos.

I make AMVs for two reasons. I find editing and watching a video come together rather enjoyable, and I want to see a certain idea done and I can't rely on anyone else to do. So my videos are meant for my own ends, and for me to enjoy. But, hey, if other people can enjoy them too, I'm not greedy in the enjoyment department.

I watch at least 2 of my vids every time I watch amvs - and it usually doesn't matter which two, I can put in almost any of my vids and enjoy watching it. I do criticize a number of my early vids, but it isn't because I hate them - it's because I wish I'd made them better so others would see why I like them. Still even my two black-sheep vids (the worst ones I've done) get a smile out of me when I watch them. I don't know.

I watch my vids more than anyone else's vids. I make my vids because I can't find vids for what I want to watch, so it my vids are *made* for me. Of course I like them. ^_^

If I enjoyed working on the video as much as I enjoy watching it, I like the video.

If I hated working on the video, then I hate the video. :?
