Just host it somewhere else other than local, and you'll be fine.
He speaks the truth.
So in other words, one part of the community is waging war on another part of the community because they take their community seriously enough to want to do so. Then they tell the powerless side to get over the loss cause it's just an online community. I'm glad people make so much sense." -- Tab

Well, keep in mind, america is the home of Blockbuster Video - which, long ago, decided that not only would they only rent dubbed anime, but they'd label all anime as Youth-Restricted Viewing.

To this day, you have to be an adult, or a minor with parental consent to rent "Clash of the Bionoids" from Blockbuster, even though it's factory labeled as "just for kids."

WTF!?!

That's messed up!

...Well, I don't use Blockbuster anyway... Movie Groove (a local video place) has a much better selection of anime and everything else.

Yeah, I don't have to worry about it, anymore (being 24), but it really pissed me off when I was younger. Eventually (back when I was like, 12), I just explained to my grandmother the premise of the NR rating, and that Blockbuster thought they were doing the right thing, even though their moral policy was exponentially more stick-up-the-arsed than hers (no, these weren't my exact words...I was 12). But she understood enough to go ahead and let me rent whatever I wanted, as long as I wasn't renting porn...again, long ago, when they actually had an adult section.

But to get back on topic, I did a little bit of searching, and answered my own question about GITS. So I'm uploading my video.

Well how do you define excessive volence. There's some videos which are obviously excessive, but i have a kite video on the local and do not see it as being a problem given that whle there is violence in it it is done for a purpose rather then being thrown in there for no reason which is what i consider not to be excessive violence. Because Excessive denotes there being a hell of alot more then there should.

I don't want AMVs to turn into the MPAA censor show but here's some ideas on how you can scoot your "rating" down.

Don't show penitration with a weapon show the before and after.
If there's something "objectionable on some side of the screen. Zoom the video in till it's not there.

I'm sure you can think of other ways to scoot the "rating". Good luck all.
This has no relevence to the discussion above it
