What do you do to psyche yourself up?

Hmmm.. so much analysis... It's a simple as getting an idea you like and doing the work it takes to get it done and sticking with it

Anyway, was for pyching yourself up ... YEah I neeed to watch
my half-way decent AMVs again about 5 outta 20. Before hitting
the premiere cutting floor. Recently I've been wanting to do-this
video and lacking the moral to-do so... I'll probally get around to-it
someday ,but, for right now it's summer. So, I plan to hang with friends
and watch a whole lot of shows, I've been meaning to watch. Glad to

look-at there member dates or nothing. Personally think there outta
be more personal help from the senior *cough editers to drag the
young-editors to the top. Because I have been noticing huge gap
bettween the low and the high. Most people say read the guides...
which are helpful ,but, don't help those who are very hands-on learners
like myself... So, yeah this lack cuases some serius editing fear or
anxitey which can't be good for the persons involved....

Yeah, that would be kinda werid if people got-off on AMV
it'd at least make the AMV contest more interesting then usal.
Though the idea of seeing all those people jacking off to euphroia
is a quite sickining it is also imensly funny

i mostly use coffee, vodka, watch other Anime or AMVs, or just play a game (FF7 again right now). After that i just feel up to going on again, but when i'm really stuck the AMV really sucks most of the time (just look at my Gaea's Sin vid).

I watch other AMVs, especially award-winning ones. If you have a copy of a contest anywhere, sit down and watch that for awhile, and then think about how good they are. It inspires all the jealousy you need to get crackin'. =D

I start massive projects that will take months to complete properly. Get started on them, and then 'take breaks' from it by doing other easy videos. Whenever I look up on the wall and see the production flowchart I get depressed at how few items are checked off. To cheer up I do other stuff, and piss off my students by making simple little showcase projects.

So, I basically take the ass backwards approach.

Damm, that reminds me... I have to get that baby shower crap edited.
