What got you into AMVs!

At my first convention, about a year and a half ago, I ended up with nothing to do and decided to check out their AMV contest. I liked what I saw, and after that I gradually started to think of video ideas. A couple months later, I got an idea that really clicked for me, and that's how I decided to make my first AMV.

This little video got me into AMVs. It's absolutly brilliant, in i still like it, nomather how many times i watch it.

hmm for me i got into amvs before anime (though i did watch robotech didn't relize that was anime) i was at a friends house and he showed me that kenshin + mortal kombat that was well done. also showed me one that i'm still searching for, its got the anime about the feencing school and all the girls and girlish looking boys lol, and the music was cool the video was well done (wasn't a n00b video) the music had pino in it other then that i can't name the song but if i downloaded the video off of org i'd give it a 4/5 tahts how good i thought it was!

I guess when I used to be into Dragonball Z, I always downloaded Castor Troy's and Firey's amvs .. they we're always so easy to download 8)

Fanime '03. I was bored wandering around. I went into the AMV finalists showing. I saw this video and several others. Later, I was looking for the aforementioned video when I found this website. Then I said, "Aw, drat, you have to be a member," ('k, maybe not that exactly) and forgot about it for a few months, during which time I saw this video and this video. I eventually broke down and joined here.

..the first video mentioned is excellent, by the way, and I still enjoy the second. The third is intense.
