You guys rock. Really. I mean...there's something admirable about looking for the best turd in a pile of crap. I'm serious about that. Do not misunderstand my sincerity. 8)

Damn, we all know the lbz vids are tottally out of hand .. but there are a few gems in the rough my dear misguided friend. Dark kamui's vid was one of those vids ... i did enjoy it for it's time ... and as far as the editors that actually put effort in their videos (even though a damned lot of em didnt\dont) there is always the handful that tried to make it actually work.
...the problem I see a lot is that many good amv makers think they suck, and many bad amv makers think they're good.
I've seen it happen, man! I've SEEN IT!..

well said my friend. You can't just look at the numbers of LPZ videos and just automatically believe they suck. Some people do put serious time and effort in these videos like Dark Kamui, Paulo, and that dude who made By Myself. Good Stuff.

Dark Kumai's was like the second AMV I saw, ever. It's one of the videos that got me into editting. At the same time it through me off making LBZ vids because, 'Hey,' I thought, 'its already been done once. Can't be done again, that wouldn't be very original.' (note: At the time I had no idea of the scope of the community or the boundless possiblities for diversity. Ah, to be young again.)

Things and favourism aside...."In the end" isn't a song for a Vegeta character profile. No matter how good the quality of the video is and timing and effects....if the concept sux the video sux. Plain and simple. For me the whole concept in that video is wrong, not to mention the scene selection :|.

NeoGohan's "Forgotten" is another thing though. Lyrics are followed well, quality is good, timing decent, scene selection great. So if I had to pick the best LBZ video it'd be "Forgotten".

How was it not a song for Vegita? The chorus fits his character perfectly

"I tried so hard, and got so far, in the end it doesn't even matter"

translates to...

"I trained really hard, and I was the strongest, but someone surpassed me after my insane training"

This is just my opinion, to me it seems like the song was made just for him.

Actually, DK´s vid was the second i saw, and i really liked it, same goes for that guy who made " By Myself " but i have to agree with Bote on that one..

1.- Forgotten
2.- In the End
3.- By Myself

At least thats for me, and i have to agree with LightningCountX because " In the End " was a good choice for a Vegeta vid.
