Out of curiosity, what convention was this?

And I'll assume that by "virtual sub (/mod)" you meant "Virtual<b>Dub</b>(/Mod)", and that by "Windows Movie Player" you meant "Windows Movie <b>Maker</b>" and not "Windows Media Player".
Luirru wrote:So is there anotherprogram that opens\uses those files or is there a way to change it from its current file type into an .avi format?
http://www.eo-video.com - use this to convert to a lossless (read: HuffYUV) AVI, and re-compress that using AVISynth and VDub(/Mod)

Alternatively: http://www.tmpgenc.net - if you rename your .WMV to .ASF, this program will usually take it; it's used to convert to MPEG-1 or MPEG-2

Better: Some people report that AVISynth's DirectShowSource command works for them. You can load it into VDub(/Mod) that way and re-compress.

Best: Go back to WMM and export using the DV AVI option instead of any of the .WMV options. You can find instructions for that here:

Thank you and I will try the solutions out. If you have AIM or MSN I would like to send you a copy and see what you think of it and get some constructive critism out of it.
it would make a lot more sense to do that not just to the frames with subs but to the whole video, if you only do it to the frames with subs it'll look like the strangest vid ever, with black boxes popping up all over the place.
Meh, not necessarily.

Well I got it into a .mpeg and opened it with virtualdub and I downloaded the X-logo program as well. I read the directions as best I could and I cannot seem to find the filter for it, even though I have them both (the x-logo and the virtual dub) in the same folder. Does anyone here want me to send it to them on MSN or AIM and take a shot at it? Or at least give me your opinion on how it looks and such, either would be nice, both would be awesome. Thank you again for all the valuable help.
