You didn't? o.o
...this person is accusing me of stealing footage i got off the internet.
If you got it off the internet (and you're talking about Wolf's Rain, which is licensed now), then you stole it. Maybe not from her, but it's still against site rules. Don't talk about downloading footage - that gets threads locked. ^_^;;
you want the link its on my site and hers is under amazonmandy. my video is nothing like hers i looked at hers and our are different, i got more footage than she does and my scenes are edited with speed ups. just compare them so i can go on with my now boring life.
Her thread about your video is still in this section, and I think she dropped the links for the mods. If they didn't take your video down - I see it's still on local - then it looks like you've been proven innocent. ^_^

But since you asked, I'll try the wmm test on the two videos. I'm curious to see how they compare.

No, I just had no idea where the "80% of videos here use other peoples' footage" statistic came from.

The possibility shocks me, and I seriously hope it's not true.

I admit it, I took dokool's "It's Tricky to Make a Music Video" and resequenced the scenes (and added a few from the DVDs) to make "What Lain Bought On eBay". It's obvious, isn't it? They share a lot of scenes...

:P

AS DOES EVERY LAIN VIDEO.

Jeez. I'm so tired of people whining about stolen footage. Here, I'm gonna put this out only once.

*cough*

Bad Martial Arts offers his videos to the public to take clips from. Because heck, I sure as heck took the clips from DVDs.

There, have fun making Lain videos with floating lips or golf bags in them.

Replace "It's Tricky to Make a Music Video" with "Right Now It's Tricky To Be Shameless" and then reread above. :(

Blah, can't even make a point wihtout screwing it up....

And <i>I</i> <s>stole</s> <s>appropriated</s> <i>borrowed</i> video titles from AD, Bogo, and doki although I was good and asked them all for permission.

BTW, badmartialarts, you rock for Lain Does Not Dance.

Reading this topic gives me a headache.

I'm still trying to figure out whether killerkitty has been accused of using footage straight from her friend's AMV, or being accused of using the same footage from the same downloaded file.
