Hmmm.....let me see...

Poke'mon - "Poke'mon Dance Mix" (have it, if you're interested)
Trigun, Tokyo Babylon, and SaiKano - "Infinite Sadness" by Smashing Pumpkins

(all 3 of those would do well with that song, you see; and it's instrumental)

Kare Kano and Love Hina - "I See Right Through To You" by DJ Encore

Ah! My Goddess - "White Sailing" or "T.R.Y.-Return To Yourself" by Two-Mix

Angel Sanctuary - "White Diamond" by SunnyVale

All of these I have in my vast MP3 collection, and if you'd like one or more, just ask...

Lessee...I've listened to some of the songs that were suggested, and I have the following comments:

badmartialarts: Tokyo Babylon - Duran Duran - "Hungry Like the Wolf" - okay, after some consideration, I've decided that I LOVE it. It makes me giggle at the sheer ironic absurdity, so I have to do it. I certainly don't think that lyrical match-up will be a problem, so this should be a fairly easy section. Thank you VERY much for the suggestion; I never would have thought of it myself.

3xcel 3xcel: Pokemon - Grinspoon - "Champion" - to be honest, I just really don't like the song. I can see where you're coming from with that suggestion, but I don't think I'd enjoy editing to a song I don't like. Anyway, thanks for the post, and if you come up with any more ideas, drop me a line, alrighty?

Shinji Strife: SaiKano - Maroon 5 - "She Will Be Loved" - I'm not sure about this song. I mean, the lyrics work great, the mood is perfect, and it's an all-around decent song...it just doesn't 'do it' for me. I'll keep thinking about it - until then, I'm on the fence. Who knows, maybe it'll grow on me...? Thanks for the suggestion.

Love Hina - "Dream Lover" - um...by who? There's a couple songs by that name, and the one I know best is Mariah Carey. I don't really consider that an 'oldie,' so I don't think that's what you're talking about.
Pokemon - "You Can Do It (if You Really Try)" - um, I don't know the artist on that one either. Saying "Pokemon OST" doesn't help much. Also, it doesn't have to be about fighting with monsters. Actually, a song for Team Rocket would be cool.
Trigun - yeah, yeah, but *I* haven't made one yet, and that's the important part. Besides, Evangelion's WAY worse with it's video count than Trigun. Guess what? I've not only managed to find a suitable song for Trigun, but it hasn't been done AT ALL. How's that for originality? ^_~
Anyway, thanks for your suggestions. If you fill me in on the artists for the middle two, I'll get back to you again.

Warheart: ...do you have the name of that song right? I only ask cuz when I looked up the lyrics, it said the name was "Clayman" and "living in a world of promises" were lyrics IN the song. I thought you said that "Clayman" was the name of the ALBUM. If you could clear up this confusion, I'd be ever so grateful - and I'll get back to you.

Merm: Blood the Last Vampire - Metallica - "Damage Inc." - actually, I'll consider this song, but not the part of it you suggested. My Blood section likely won't be an action section, which is what this song heavily implies. Rather, I'll have something more mellow and story-oriented. That said, I'll think about using the instrumental chords at the BEGINNING of the song, as I really liked those. I am a Metallica fan, but I don't really care for that song. Like I said, though, the chords in the intro are pretty, so I may use THAT part of the song. I'm guessing you liked the song quite a bit to use it in a video of your own though. (Hey, I told you I did research ^_~ .)

Lady Shinsei: how about you send me ALL of those songs? By the way, I love instrumentals, and I'll take those suggestions in a heart beat. I suppose I could get those songs myself, but I'd rather make you feel useful. ^_~ Thanks for the multitude of suggestions. I'll review the songs when I get 'em!

So, with ALL that said, I just have a couple more things. Firstly, I guess I didn't quite make it clear in the first post that I would take instrumental ideas, too. I mean, I said was eclectic, but everything else I said implied that I wanted vocal songs. When I said "verse and chorus," I meant that that's what I wanted IF it was a vocal song. So, sorry for the conflicting messages.

Thus, the revised list is...

I meant Pokemon Official Sound Track, 2 B A Master. I own it - obviously, most any of those songs would work well. Can send a mp3 if you like.

That's the one that I own. The Team Rocket song on there is cool.....

And on giving out those MP3s, can only do 'em one at a time and
via a temporary hoster used for sending large files via Email.

I actually don't particularly like the song either (compared with most of their other stuff), I just had that idea floating in my head for about a year until I finally found Movie Maker on my comp.

It's been a little while since I posted, so I wanted to get back to y'all. You know, I hate that word "y'all," so I have no clue why I use it...

Anyway!

pinky - music would help, though I'm pretty sure I could get it myself if I felt like it - which I don't. I guess you could try the whole e-mail thing.

Lady Shinsei - *ponders* well, all I have is Yahoo, so I don't know how well sending through e-mail would work. Also, I'm not too bright with technology, so even if it does work, it may not work with ME. If you can come up with some course of action (and explain it in VERY simple terms to me,) we can go from there.

Laz_the_white - hmm..."Love Song" is a good song, but I don't think it's quite what I'm looking for. Also, Chobits made me cry, too. ^_~ Another thing: Shinji Strife did quote a really good song... Lastly, I hate it when computers are difficult!

Warheart - oh, I did listen to that In Flames song. I like it, but it's too screamy for a music video - at least, one I'd enjoy making.

Shinji Strife - I thought more about "She Will Be Loved," and I've decided that I will use it - IF nothing else better is suggested. The song did grow on me some. I haven't finished SaiKano yet, but the more I see, the more I can understand why you suggested this song. It really does work well. So, to wrap this up, I'll probably use it, but I won't remove it from the list because I still want suggestions.

Well, I think that's everyone! I definitely appreciate all the feedback, and I hope to get more yet. I still haven't come up with any more ideas myself, so the list stands as such:
