Good Bands

Post by leenarutogaara » Fri Jul 01, 2005 8:59 pm

You should check out bands with good drum parts rather than good guitar parts. Most of the time in war music its either all depressing, or it is a song with huge, long drum solos. But I, being a heavy-metal person would not know any bands with awesome drum parts.

Sorta off subject....

I can almost definetly be sure this isn't what your looking for, but so long as we're on the subject of drum parts and solos, may I suggest Moby Dick by AC-DC? It's got a 2 min drum solo, and I've always wanted to see a good AMV with that song. It would a challenge, though, since it's not a really heavy solo (mostly done with hands on toms). It's good though.

NO, moby dick was led zeppelin, bonham was incredible, in the live version of that song the drum solo can get up to 20 minutes, and my guess is he was drunk of his ass for every second of it

For some stupid reason, I think Rage Against the Machine could work. Try Burn or Testify

GI Joe is considered american animation and thus your AMV is not an anime music video by this site's standard (in general, animated by japanese people for consumption by a japanese audience). I will let this thread slide on the forum so you can get useful music suggestions, but keep in mind that your video should not be uploaded to the local server and will be taken off if found.

Also, if someone could tell me in a PM what the GI Joe video that was "disguised with FLCL or w/e" video is so we can look into it, that would be greatly appreciated.

You are asking again? Did the songs on the first thread not work out? I'm just curious why you started a new thread.
