who runs the proxy account? Did that ever host video's or just list them? I agree there should be some sort of method for finding some of the classics. Why should only KC get his video's uploaded?

If you look, there are a number of other videos there. Not just Caldwell.

As for who runs it, well, it's pretty much not run at all these days.

A number of people likely have an MPEG of it, since it apparently was on the old Waldo's archive. I also have it.

If anyone does decide to start up the proxy again, let me know. I'm sitting on several AMVs that I would love to put up (few by You Know Who, one by Lorraine Savage, I think a couple of C-Ko's).

Do you mean "My Youth in Asia" (My Euthanasia) for Lorraine Savage's video? Yeah, I'd like to see that too.

As for C-ko's I may have some of those hidden on a VHS tape somewhere in my basement. I may need to just spend a day encoding all my old VHS-only AMVs from other creators and upload them via proxy account. Can I still do that?

The archive has a ton of video not here... Maybe once it's sorted then some of them could be re-encoded to a size for the web...

Any chance at getting a sticky for swapping hard to find video's? I imagine that'd work better than a admin controlling proxy as users could just list what they have.

I believe there should be copies of the full-digital remasters of C-ko's videos that he did a few years back- most should be in the archive, though I'm not sure they were ever converted over from their original DV format (I got copies of a few of them for a compilation DVD I put together about the same time).
