Ratings are all screwy and virtually useless. Actual feedback and comments are far more useful as they better reflect the strenghts/weaknesses of your video and their opinions therof.

Numbers are almost entirely useless. Star ratings being one of the two stupidest implementation decisions ever made on the org.

Even in ops, we usually do not agree as to what numbers mean what.

I use the school scale (0-5.9 = F, 6.0-6.9 = D, 7.0-7.9 = C, 8.0-8.9 = B, 9.0-9.9 = A, 10 = A+). I know others who use 5 as average, the same way I use 7.

happens all the time to me, they usually even out after a few hundred stars though...

I like keeping tabs on stars but they don't rule my life

I never did, and never will see the point of the star system.

It becomes much more useful once you are a donator...

It is somewhat useless if you don't rate accurately, but I guess most people do since I still get fairly good results when using the Suggestion Query: Method 2

x2 8-)

Exactly, I think that the only function of the numerical scale, and the qualification are only to accompany the comments it is not totally useless because all the works as a complement!
