Well that has to be the most chaotic thing I've ever laid eyes on. x_XDeaf Jester wrote:Flashes are awesome.
And to be on topic, I like the flashiness if it actually does anything for the video. Chiikaboom's "Attack of the Otaku" is flashy as hell, but with the concept and a song that's so dang spaz-tastic, it works perfectly and I love it for that.
(Hope she doesn't mind free advertising. I figure if I mention a video I should at least provide a link. XD )

Flashy sync and effects tend to look very impressive. They're just right there for the viewer to see, without subtlety to discover and get. It's just very easy to like that stuff, unlike a "deep concept" or a storyline that might be difficultly accessible.. Or that's what just crossed my mind right now.
No use for debate I think. If you think beatsync + seizurific editing = win, then you do. If you don't think so, then you don't. But no need to tell someone which way it should be done It's like debating over matter of tastes. Well, at least I think so.

I actually think there is a different Video that deserves the title as best parody of this genre =PBauzi wrote: All the over flashed stuff is more a kind of evolution. You want your editing to get tighter and you get impressed of tighter editing and this ends in "I sync every bullshit".
A nice parody in my eyes has made one of my best friends:
It gets into a very perfedic way of a vid. How a parody should be ;P

X_X...hafta say: I did like that one...
Everything came from nothing, therefore everything is nothing.
There's nothing to worry about.
