Isn't it a written rule of the Announcement forum as well?
It became one after kickass331 came along. :>

Does that mean kickass331 was mainstream?

Yup! It's to keep the forum from being overrun from threads from the same editor.

Req, I get what you're saying about quality over quantity, but I don't think the problem applies here really. Maybe I'm naive, but I don't think anyone actually thinks to himself, "Oh man I wanna do a triple release so let me do three videos real quick." For me personally, I did a double release because I didn't want to shamelessly have two announcement threads floating around in the span of a month.

If anything, people who release multiple videos at a time are at a slight disadvantage because they don't get to spread out the release hype over two threads (and more time). :P

All I am saying is, I think it would help the overall AMV quality if the person only had one project to focus on at a time. The AMV in my opinion would probably look and feel better, because he didn't have to divide his/her attention on more that one AMV. I'm not saying double and triple releases is a bad thing, I'm just saying that, I think the AMV would turn out better if the person focused on one AMV at a time, and not having to divide his/her attention.

Just because someone relaeses 3 or more videos at a time doesn't mean that they were all
made the same time.
There are some that hold off releasing or wait a while to release videos.
By that time they may have made 1 or 2 more videos.
I have that habbit since its often many months later that I relese a finished AMV.

There are ocasionally some that do quickly throw multile videos together in a day
and release them.
Thats why they had to change to announcement rules.

Jeez its amazing some people have time to edit since they are always complaining about
silly stuff.
If it bothers you so much to see people do that, just don't watch the videos they announce
*goes to work*

Uhm.. You don't really have to like.. watch all of the releases O.o Just pick the ones that seem interesting.

I don't really mind double or triple releases. I just don't see the problem

I get the whole quality > quantity thing, however I don't think people are making multiple releases on the basis of reverse logic... at least I hope they are not. I for one announced an LAMV at the same time as my last AMV; but the reason there is a bit more obvious.

How about I stop releasing all my videos and when I retire from video editing, I release them all under one post.
