I used a lot of fades in my last video. I used several layers and fades throughout the whole video. I don't care that some may have thought it was too much. None of my reviews have said that, but I can see how some may have thought it was too much. I feel my vid came out just how I wanted, though, and that I didn't use the effect just to use it. I used it to achieve how I wanted the video to look which was soft.

So um yeah...it's all in the opinion of who is watching it.

Heh, I cant do digital effects... Anything I want modified from the original I have to do in frame by frame. So I guess I can't really go overboard. And I wouldn't complain about anyone else doing in either, they can do whatever they want (As long as there are ABSOLUTELY NO flashing borders

Why am I NOT surprised that Koop's video was mentioned immediately and has so far remained the only specific video mentioned?

Here's a good indicator: when 9/10 of the reviews that you get mention something about "headaches," "epilepsy," "seizure," or "way too many flashing things," then you've gone overboard.

I don't have epilepsy, but I did have a seizure once. I was on Wellbutrin at the time. Some videos should include a warning that says "if you have epilepsy, or are taking Wellbutrin or other medications, consult a doctor before watching this video"
