Sorry, thread can stay open- the topic specifically says "AMV to represent" ... Rehdogg.com was less of AMV than filming your dog running around Brad's apartment and setting it to classical music would be (simply because I can see the latter being at least amusing... and it occurs to me that I'm glad I didn't think of and say that before the Pro deadline...).

Keep in mind for convincing congress it isn't quality that's the key but legality. The problem with AMVs is and has always been the music. There are strong arguments the video is fine because we're only using a portion of the total work and we're changing it but the song, usually that's not modified at all and is used entirely. So any AMV where the copyright holder gave permission to use the audio would be what I'd present. Alternatively any vid that heavily edits the audio or uses only a small part of the audio would work as well.

Hell 0 would actually be a better choice than almost anything else listed so far, at least you can say with a straight face it significantly transformed the meaning of the source. Plus these are congressmen we're talking about. Odds are that not only would Hell 0 not disgust them, it'd probably remind them of the wild nights they had on that special junket at taxpayers expense.

I'm pretty sure any AMV on a dvd would do, provided the package also contained a significant amount of money. More money than the record companies can use for lobbying.

I'm pretty sure this is how congress works.
