Ok, the non-elitist, non-newbie bashing, actually helpful answer.

Youtube links are generally not accepted here. Hence the word filter. We've had too many probs with that site, so no. The purpose of this site is to catalog all AMVs. Therefore, your vid must at least have a catalog entry here to announce it in the Announcement Forum. (Announcement Rules ) As for actually uploading it here, I think as long as you have permission from Koop, you should be ok, though I would actually note that in the video comments to avoid flames and possibly having the vid taken down. (If you don't actually have permission from him, the real him, the vid will be taken down, should you upload it here.) 400 mb?! The filesize limit for uploading AMVs here is 100mb. 400mb is pretty huge. (Guide to help you make it smaller)As for using your yt link as direct or indirect, you can't. But you can put the link in the video comments.

how about you make the catalog entry and THEN it gets unlocked?

Ultimatums from people generally aren't well received around here.

Also, being more polite and respectful also tends to get a better reaction.

its still doesn't change the fact its not yours. getting "permission" does not in any way make it "yours"

But I still suggest you add the video information to the catalog, as suggested, before getting extremely defensive and demanding. After you have done this then perhaps your announcement thread will be unlocked.

Also you can copy and paste peoples names ... it shouldn't be that hard to come somewhat close to my handle. But, if it's simpler for you, you can shorten my name to just FC if you like.

Let us know when you have the catalog updated.

the version of skittles that this video is in response to is actually Jay's video on Jay's account O.o However there is a "fake koop" on the tube as well: koopeskiva..

Either way using video footage from a very well known amv is a slippery slope, even if you have permission people will still eventually flame you for not making your own original effects and edits... especially when there isn't an over all major difference between the two videos (ie: taking skittles and putting it to another upbeat jpop song) and actually it kinda kills the lyric sync of the original video to see it randomly put to another song O.o
