Re: Do you watch your own videos?
I think i understand what your trying to say; Do you critique(or however its spelled) your own videos as you would another after its already finished, right? If so i would have to say that would be a very hard task, i think most people enjoy their own work more than they should(even if they say something like it sucks and whatnot). I don't think this is a question that can really be awnsered will a yes for sure, i think people would be nicer or meaner to their own work than others. Hope that helped some O: kinda multi tasking while writing this.

I can't say it better than this.Zarxrax wrote:Well of course. Why would I make something that even I wouldn't be interested in watching?

x2, actually. I wouldn't have made them if that wasn't one of the intended effects.Kevmaster wrote:I watch my own videos more often than I watch other peoples videos.
The Birds are using humanity in order to throw something terrifying at this green pig. And then what happens to us all later, that’s simply not important to them…

Re: Do you watch your own videos?
Considering most of the time the point of my videos is to torture the viewer, I try to not watch my videos. About half of them I don't even have a copy of anymore.

Ah yes that's exactly what I was trying to say. (critique, that's the word I was looking for)InsaneWaya wrote:I think i understand what your trying to say; Do you critique(or however its spelled) your own videos as you would another after its already finished, right? I do. Sometime to critique, sometimes out of enjoyment, and still other times to relive the passion I took in making it.
I always know it's been too long since I watched my own videos when I hear a song on the radio and think,....'Damn, this would be a good amv song....wait....there is an amv to this.....oh ya....mine.'

Re: Do you watch your own videos?
I watch all my videos hundreds of times before they are released. The secret to the illusion of talent is really just excellent QC. If you watch something 30, 40, 50 times, and it still doesn't get old, its good. If you're tired of an effect, or a joke, or a cut after the 5th viewing, its a gag and won't age well.
I watch my own videos more than anyone else's, because I make what I want to see. Theres actually a stray frame in dead to the world, but no ones found it yet,
