This is something a teenager would say.Vivaldi wrote:The most importance aspect of the internet is anonymity. To not bother with whether the person you're talking to is young\old, fat\thin ect. Oh, and I think most of the forum going population is college age anyway.

Anyway, yeah, age. I agree with the whole 'I think this hobby is far less age-discriminant than some people may assume.' At least in my dealings with people here. Yes, the 'inner circle' is generally older, and the people posting random vids seems younger, but as for active members, it varies, and age cannot always be determined until you talk to them. I remember dealing with peopl I assumed were at least 18, possibly even in their 20's, then I talk to them on AIM/MSN, and find out they're, like, 14. And I'm like, 'WTF?!' Then there's the 'I just turned 18' and 'I'm not old enough to get into a strip club' convos. 0.o So yeah. Drunken rambling. But in short, yeah, I feel a little odd sometimes 'hanging out' with teenagers when I'm pushing 30. But hey, as long as you're not trying to have sex with them, I think the same logic applies with the people around here that does with food. If your enjoy yourself, does it really matter what's in it/how old they are?

Though this does lend credence to my cynicism theory.
