When I'm told my music vid is unoriginal but it's the only one using that type of song and put in it's own type of series of clips that no one else has bothered using.

What makes it unoriginal, the fact hundreds of other anime's have done it? Who the hell cares, it's this anime not the thousands of others.

My pet peeve is when people use really fast-paced, bouncy or catchy songs in their videos but with footage and/or editing that doesn't match the pace or spirit of the song.
My favorite video: Grilled Steak Trigun I LOVE THE COPS! Rargh!
I ain't 2 proud 2 beg! haha school rumble is great
Why do I always have the most preposterous sigs???
My current favorite thread. I'm a huge fan of GA-JAMMING.

I try to reply to everyone who gives more than a twenty-word opinion. :P
I love being the one commented to ;p I mean, if I notice that a creator only comments to certain ppl then I purposeley turn the wit up -_- this doesn't mean tons of words or being annoying... heck I left one review for Shonen Dizzy Cow that was just Good: 'this vid is BIG' Bad: 'it's like the cow just collapsed my house!' General: 'I'm homeless now!' -commented AND complimented ;p <3 SDC

OK, I thought of another peeve of mine, I'm not sure if someone else mentioned this earlier, but anyway. Little or no information in the video discription. I mean, I'd like to know what the video's supposed to be about, why was it made, what makes this one different from another video that uses the same anime and same music, etc... This can add just a little more incentive for me to download it.

I'd also say people who bash a video with lots of added FX, even when they're done well and add novelty to the video (as long as it's not fucking repetative ala NTB).

I totally agree. if you want people to watch your vid, spend 2 minutes and write a discription.

Some of my peeves:

-Subtitles
-stealing footage from other vids
-vids that are compressed so much that it is imposible to watch. (a 4 min vid that is less than 2MB)
-Random vids that look like someone just look a bunch of unrelated shots and threw them together in 10 min.
-People being proud of spending 5 hours making a vid. If I added up all the time I waited for various versions my vid to render, it would be more than 5 hours.

I dunno about repetitiveness being a fault in effects, in my opinion, I think it's best to stick with a couple that work with the video idea, rather than throwing in all kinds of different effects that can have no relevance at all. Though I'd much rather not start a debate on if effects can actually help a video this way or not, I think NTB used effects (albeit many effects) in a way that did benefit the overall theme/idea of the video.

Bah, and I never wanted to find myself posting here, my pet peeve? I guess its obvious now, but too many different effects at seemingly random times, and sometimes just for beat sync purposes (and I will freely admit I have done this many times in the past :/ )

-People leaving reviews saying 'this is the best vid ever' even though the vid is quite bad.
-or on the same note giving all tens and not providing anything constructive.
