I can't believe this topic is still on-going. I have read through it though, and a lot of valid points were made here and there.

But yes, TwilightChrono could indeed be the Hannibal Lecter of the AMV world.

This scared me however. I laughed, fell out of my chair and went "Oh, Shi---"

I don't think this is true. I've done a lot of thinking into prospective editing, and read some books here and there since this thread's creation. I must admit, the books make sense. But prospective and probative editing makes more sense to me still. I like to dig into my mind sometimes to think of new ways in which a video can be edited. I enjoy editing the way I do.

Although, a lot of the time, I don't take breaks when I edit. I edit all the way through most of the time until the AMV is done. Basically just sitting at my comp until the AMV is finished, thus I find myself waking up on a slobber drenched keyboard most of the time.

I don't think it's really dedicated to editing more as it is stupidity. Because I wind up going for hours and hours without food or drink, just because I don't feel like taking a break. I suppose it's why a lot of my video's laze off towards the end because I get kinda sick of seeing the damn editor sometimes or hearing the damn song.

In which I must also say that it's not necessarily a smart thing to do nor is it nor can it be good for the video itself. Editing for so long without breaks doesn't give you time to catch your breathe and think more in depth at what you are really editing. Really, I think it's something I need to stop, but I really enjoy editing, and most of the time can't pull myself away. I guess it's because I'm a completionist. I feel sometimes that if I stop editing, even if it is just for a small break, I fear I won't have the gaul to open up the project file again.

It's just that way I am and am hard-wired I suppose.
