What kind of comments do you hate the most?

If they say why it's bad, then it's actually a good comment if you ask me...

Agreed. Unfortunately most people don't do that. I hate it when I make a video I really love and gets generally good feedback and I get one like "That was like a cat getting raped! 1"

I would really like to know what they hated so much about it. I'm curious if it is generally well received.

I agree with that one point of yours, but not with this one. Almost every naruto AMV will get Nice as comment from a naruto fan Even if it's crappy.

Make a video about Ren from SK, Ren fans will love it with crappy quality.

Etc...that's always been my experience.

@JaddziaDax: He/she might've been confused with another AMV? I usually fill in all my quick lines and stars at once, so it's easy to get confused every now and then.

yea I'm sure the subtitles comment was ment for something else it just confused/ammused me to get it. especially how ironic it is cause i will leave the url to the sub guide on videos that have unintentional subs in them O.o lol

i once gave a qc to one video, and made a mistake... cause it was for the wrong video, but since i had downloaded two of this person's videos i corrected it in their second qc and told them to name their videos better... (the file names threw me off cause they were similar)

thats true of any video in my experience as well, my old videos (which I think suck balls) still get the occasional good comment, cause SOMEONE liked SOMETHING... though I've learned to translate "I like homestarrunner!" to "i like the audio but your video sucks" lolz... because I KNOW BETTER.

isnt that the whole point to an OPINION? if you dont rate on your own personal bias then whats the point of the opinion? then all ratings would be the same, and people would be borring. there would be no avarage, it would just always be the same.

the only time i think you should be objective is when youre giving opinion ratings on sound and video, you should rate weather or not you like the song or the anime but on how clean they are...

and yet different people have different opinions on what deserves a 9 and what deserves a 5. some people can hear audio problems that others cant and some people download ONLY CLEAN amvs so from their curve they would see a top notch amv and it would be considered avarage of what they have seen... everyone has their own personal curve.

and sometimes they DONT KNOW what the song or the anime is and they are downloading to find out...

i personally avoid downloading DBZ vids cause i dont like DBZ but if the audio is something that interests me, or the concept then I'll snag it up, I actually have 2-3 DBZ videos I enjoy.

alot of the times if someone made a video to an anime i do like but i dont know what the music is I'll get it too, cause i wanna find out what the music is...

sometimes i dont know what the music or the anime is and i want to find out so i will get it.

but as for qcs, i personally dont like getting many qcs that tell me whats wrong with my videos cause 99% of the time I know whats wrong with my video, and sometimes it feels like people just keep rubbing my nose in it... if i want to know all that I'll go beta and ask someone.

i like hearing how the amv effected them, i like the uber super squee comments, and maybe even the ones that said "meh it was alright"... or even the "i dont really like it" cause to me those are more fun than someone pointing out my videos every flaw...

in truth there are some videos that have flaws all over them and yet i still find a way to enjoy them, there was SOMETHING in the concept, the source or in the editing that made me like it, so i see nothing wrong with that... sure they could have tightened sync, or removed subs or SOMETHING, but i still keep it around cause there was something in it i liked.. i dont see anything wrong with giving a higher star rating cause of that... cause for me star rating is mostly on how much i enjoied a video... opinion scale is more on the technical aspect and how much i think i would watch it.

though sometimes "aspect ratio" comments sometimes tick me off (personally) cause I KNOW my aspect ratio is off, I'm still trying to learn how to fix that.. and just when i think i learned how to fix it something goes wrong.. and someone points out its messed up again o:< then im sick of working on the vid so i upload it anyways O.o

what i dont get is why cant the friggen video rip to the ratio its SUPPOSED to be? (i blame the movie industry too O.o)

truthfully i usually expect that comment from you so lolz I've learned to brush it off... atleast from you, but then 2-3 other comments come in and say the same thing and it turns into me feeling like i am getting my nose rubbed in it

its one of those OKAY! I ALREADY KNOW! things lol.

but then again no one can see the QCs but me so i cant blame the commenters, i just get annoied with the comments themselves...

but then again more reason to really figure it out for next time..
