Frankensteins...

anyways, the reason I hate Frankensteins is cause I once went to look up both Cardcaptor Sakura, and Pretear (at different times), not only did alot of them have the same scenes, BUT the same EDITS and were by DIFFERENT CREATORS... if I am looking up a series and I want to see what its about, I hate watching the same 5 edits over and over again in 3 different videos...
This isnt to say that those two Animes have only frankensteins, cause I have found several lovely AMVs from both series, but it makes me want to puke when I see one vid (that is ovbiously the original) then go and watch the second only to see it again only frankensteined to a different song with InuYasha! (nothing against InuYasha either love the show...)
its just laziness... and its borring to see the same thing over and over.. I mean you can use the same scenes but different edits, and that will make it entertaining, but the SAME EDITS, SAME EFFECTS?? no. borring.
Subs dont bother me as much as frankensteins cause atleast they are making their own edits. BUT
When I leave an opinion on a video laden with subs and bad quality, and I point out ways they can improve, like directing them to the Guide on how to remove subs, and tell them to take advantage of the 100MB that a-m-v.org has to offer, instead of compressing a 20 minute AMV into 30MB (ouch) they go and say "well no one said you had to watch it!" GAH! lol, you left "tell me what you think" at the end of your video, so I did, I only did what you ASKED!!! AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH! lol
When people beg and whine for opinions but dont give any themselves.
When people beg and whine for opinions and get pissed when you tell them the truth (I usually include how they can improve too, so its not all that bad!!).
When people leave me ops on my old videos telling me how great they are... granted I dont really want to hear opinions on how much they suck either, or when people leave opinions on my first videos telling me how to improve, or to "keep working at it" or "practice makes perfect!"
(I've even left in the descriptions that I have improved, and I would much rather opinions on my new videos, so I can improve on THOSE)
but yea, I kinda wish that they wouldnt leave opinions at all...
(maybe I go and change the descriptions again, by the way, the comment history irks me too, cause I make alot of spelling mistakes that I dont catch till later, but people dont need to remember my spelling mistakes!!!)
Someone mentioned this but I agree: when I make a video I could care less about and it gets lots of opinions and a high star rating, but the ones I really like are ignored / get lower star ratings...
Videos that dont get much attention cause they arent "popular anime" or "pop music"... not the videos themselves, but the fact they dont get attention...
people who tell me that they hate the music in my AMVs... well if you hate the music why did you download it??? (now I have to admit that I have done this myself, but if I am going to leave an opinion, I base Sound on how it sounds not weather or not I like the song, and I base action on weather it goes with the music, not on how much I like the anime/song... I dont particularly like DBZ but people still ask me to beta sometimes, and want me to watch their vids, but I dont really base it on how much I like DBZ but on how its edited)
When people have a good idea, and it dies on the cutting room floor... I feel the need to leave an opinion telling them how to edit their song... or the need to want to do it myself.. or something, but I CANT... I suppose I could but.. *caugh* I'd feel bad..
