Only ErMaC's, with the wide array of cycedelic(sp) colors in a kalediscope type-y thing. . . Um, I mean, that AMV was great! .. Other then the urge to say "Groovy"...
Anyhow, Enough of off-topic-y type things! That belongs in the World's Longest Thread, not here!
This is where I'm supposed to get people saying this: "This is a wonderful idea, SQ!"
And this: "This is the worst Idea ever, SQ!"

Well, it might of been yours. 0o
What happened was, my parents had suddenly started yelling at me, and I accidently hit the fast forward button. The last name I had seen before I hit that button was ErMaC's, so I just assumed( I didnt rewind because I didn't like that song anyway ><;;). The DVD was a loan and she took it back the next day, so I never checked that out. Sorry 'bout that, then. . . I dind't know! You have now read my story and reasons...

OKay, here's some ideas for the anime which will be in involved if this thing gets enough people.
X/1999
XTV(If not just for the computer code)
Neon Genesis Evangelion
DBZ(They have good backdrops)
Escaflowne: The Movie(for the tower jump)
Escaflowne(same)
Earthian(For the thing that lets you program people inside the ship)
Blue Sub 6 (Possibly for the ship)
The Big O(for the cars)
Ghost in the Shell(Neo's 'awakening' inside the Matrix)
That's all I can think of at this moment, but right now I'd have to say almost any anime is a go. However, there can be no computer animated 3-D things such as stuff from Squaresoft's video games for obvious reasons. Now, I can logically see why a 3-D ship would do nicely, but otherwise just having random 3-D characters would not go well.
Not to metnion that we might have to hand animate every single frame in the 'movie', to keep the same backgrounds and such. After effects may work, but using the background of one anime and making it the background for that certain scene. Blue/Green screen also might work, but I doubt it'd be as successful as After Effects.
I will be watching Matric tonight and tomorrow will hopefully be able to post more information.
As for the project actually starting up, I might just start doing this anyway if I get enough supporters. Now, who's a supporter?

Castor troy could do a good job of that, methinks (looking at Dragon bebop z).The Non-Professional wrote:kthulhu wrote:How would you do something like the infamous "lobby scene"? Bullets flying everywhere, people running up walls, plaster flying all over the place, and multiple firing angles with multiple and different types of weapons?
This'd be a cool idea to see, but doing it, as well as distributing it (DVD only, I'd think) would be astronomically hard.
But who knows?
what if we just used affter effects to cut and paste all the anime characters heads on the bodys. Its cheap but it works

PoPnDeath could probally do it but I have no clue. He/she? stuck Shinji and Gengo Ikari on some bodies for a short fight scene at the end of his/her? Fresh Prince of Tokyo 3 video.
Again though I done even know the person so you would have to ask them.

I think battle angel (Gunmn) is another good one to include, definately cowboy bebop, and some pieces of Kite. Memories and R.O.D. have bits and pieces that could work too.
Good luck on the project. I'd offer to help but I'm swamped as is.

The sword, it thirsts to drink of man,
The sword at last must win,
Today is gone, and yesterday,
Must echo in the wind.
