I don't have any favorite type of amv to create. Also, I haven't made many..... If I put my mind to it, any type of amv is possible.

I've tried action, sentimental, and fun. I really liked doing the fun one, since that fits my state of mine I suppose. I just like upbeat type of things.

As I found recently when I tried to make an action video, after actually becoming experienced at AMV making I have become unable to make non-dramatic videos. I tried to make a pure action vid. It was really great, had all sorts of action in it, pure intensity. Then when I'm finished I look back and I realize that practically unconciously, I turned it into a Drama video.

Well S@#%.

So I guess I'm best at Drama/Sentimental videos. Aside from my experimental category-busting vids (SoaA, I Pray, and a couple others not yet released or finished) almost all my videos have some sort of dramatic element in them.

But as for what I enjoy editing the most? That's a tough question.

It's not so much a specific genre as a situation. When I'm making a video, and my concept is fleshed out enough and I'm familiar enough with the source footage that everything just seems to work just how I envision it, that's when I have the most fun. Usually this will occur about 1/4 to 1/3 of the way through a video, where things will just start clicking and I'll be like "YES! This isn't CRAP!" That's the most fun editing for me. Occaisionally around the 3/4 mark things will start getting difficult again, or sometimes I will finish a video simply coasting into the finish line with relative ease because I've just got my editing groove on.

The most fun video I ever edited was probably Cowboy Blues because once I got past the initial hurdle of fixing my concept to be something that wasn't utter horse manure the video just clicked and I churned through the whole thing feeling my video mojo getting down with its bad self.

I'm starting to sound like Tycho in his Pennyarcade rants.

Comedy, ideas for comedy vids come out of me like water... and the comedy vid I'm working on now will almost certainly win something.... too bad it won't be done for at least 3 monthes... and I'm not premiering it online until April or so....

My favorite type of AMV to create is... wait, what do I know? I've only made four videos, two publicly released, what do I know? Ok, I didn't post this... just look at my cute Run Lola Run/Powerpuff Girl avatar...
