I'd just like to ask a reason for why you think either is shit. Seriously, I'm just curious if some people actually have a real reason for not liking Creed, or if it's just 'they suuuuuck!' without any logic behind it.

Briefly, in my opinion, Creed just swiped what they could from two greater bands (Pearl Jam's sound and U2's spirituality) and made both crassly over-obvious, like they HAD TO MAKE SURE EVERYONE GOT IT, rather than having any sort of subtlety at all. This essentially ruined the impact of whatever they stole, in my mind. In a nutshell, they're not original and they try too hard.

And on top of this they pretty much literally think they're the Second Coming. As I've said before, if you're going to compare yourself to a deity (the "Higher" video makes me sick - I mean Creed's video) you'd better have something to back that theory up. :p
