why can anyone contact the creators and get them to make a local upload of the vids?

I've tried that with some creators... I usually get no response. In a few cases, they no longer had their videos to upload them. In most of those cases, I didn't have the video anymore either because I've reformatted since I got it.

Nice one, kinda goofy in all it's simplicity. Almost like that Prince music video, just a black screen and the lyrics were presented as closed captioned text.

I never saw that Prince video, but this is one of my favorites because I personally think it's hilarious. And it's the only video like it that I've seen.
