why can anyone contact the creators and get them to make a local upload of the vids?
So in other words, one part of the community is waging war on another part of the community because they take their community seriously enough to want to do so. Then they tell the powerless side to get over the loss cause it's just an online community. I'm glad people make so much sense." -- Tab

I've tried that with some creators... I usually get no response. In a few cases, they no longer had their videos to upload them. In most of those cases, I didn't have the video anymore either because I've reformatted since I got it. :?

I've.... Only heard legends.... More light dark tales, of dark places, with darker URLs...
You mean they're not just rumours?

My whole foundation of AMV life has been shaken to the core by this shocking revelation... :P

You can find that vid on Kazaa pretty easily.
On to more important matters, that opus vid (and my other ones) may yet see the light of day.....heh

You mean this. One of my favorite videos. I remember it used to not be up, but it looks up now.

Success! Glad you mentioned this video, I thought he'd never host it again.
Nice one, kinda goofy in all it's simplicity. Almost like that Prince music video, just a black screen and the lyrics were presented as closed captioned text.
Probably too busy to be here right now.

I never saw that Prince video, but this is one of my favorites because I personally think it's hilarious. And it's the only video like it that I've seen.

Kestrel's "Bury My Lovely" and "Missing" videos are two of my favorite videos to date. She's such a great editor, although I think the RealPlayer format turns some people off. You can find her videos at http://www.sempai.org/~kestrel/mv/.
