The "bar" of another scene or a color that appears on the screen, timed to a note (tends to be a piano note, thus the 'piano keys' name).
Oh, an as to cuts and fades....I use them both completely haphazardly. Sometimes, not even on a beat or lyric change. Why? I don't know, laziness I guess....
