why hate linkin park and DBZ?

ive never made a linkinball z amv and they are used way to much but some of em are kinda cool oh YEAH if you hate linkinballz amv's NOW wait in 4 months when the new linkin park cd comes out

Originality. That's what we want. DragonBall Z and Linkin Park just don't do it anymore. Unless you combine them in some sort of crazy, making something to knock our socks off (for some people, that's a bad thing.), it will have already been done.

well i think that if a song of any band inspires you to do a video with any series , even if the series or the song are overused or not , its ok

right on with the linkin park comment...but about dbz vids: i went thru the whole dang list, and most of them are crappy. make more good ones people.

I agree with the last thing you said, kilik^ Go ahead and do what you want. I make videos for myself, not for an audience. If the audience happens to like it, then that would make me ecstatic. So if you want to make a Linkin Park - Dragonball Z video, go right ahead! But if you're making it because you want other people to praise you because of it, I wouldn't get your hopes up.

Alright so let me jump right in here
so the consensus is
dbz vids tend to be crap
linkin park vid tend to be crap

thus dbz+linkin= worse crap of all? <grin>

lawwd thats a little pressua for a newbie creator
that explains why my Blood :The Last Vampire video has not been receiving too many downloads..

I used LP's lesser known song Carousel, I found the rhytm very appropriate, even the words ( she can't hide no matter how hard she tries/the secret disguise behind the lies blah blah) anyone else see them describing a pure blood that looks like a normal little girl? <grin> <sell mode on>an i twyed to do good timing an everything *blink blink*<sell mode off>

But seriously, its as rozard says, for myself. Thing is, the song inspires the anime, and not vice versa. I'd watch and anime and soooner or later i'd hear a song and think.. damn this would make a good video and that anime will float into mind...some of my friends say opposite, that they see a video and then think of a song that would be more appropriate. I dunno, perhaps with more experience I could watch these things with a professional eye and pluck songs to suit a video....

the thing is that people here, put the blame on the series and the songs instead of blaming the creators for that bad work that they have done on there Videos (only the minority recognizes that the problem are the "newbies").

so , because of the conbination of lp + dbz; people tend to say "dbz sucks" or "LP sucks" , the half of them might not like linkin park or dbz but im sure that some of u , say that DBZ and LP suck just to be cool, and because a lot of the good creators here said so.

And its kind of a sad thing because personally i dont think that linkin park suck , actually i think that linkin park songs are very suitable for AMV's so thats why there songs are highly overused. Also i dont think that DBZ sucks that bad , i mean dbz is good series , very easy to understand, but the fact that DBZ has become so profitable and comercial , thats why people became very sick and tired of the series .

I'll have to agree with you here... i have an idea of making a dbz/GT video to slipknot's wait and bleed ..thought it that spoke too much of dbz (my eyes are red and gold /my hair is standing straight up/this is not the way i pictured me) hmmmm
the whole i feel the hate rise up in me/ kneel down and clear the stones of leaves.. lol it screams dbz... rage building sayain transformations ...

but i dunno... perhaps a 6 min wu-tang anime might be more entertaining
