Everytime i listen to "time is running out" by muse, the lines "you're something beautiful, a contradiction." i think of Chi, altho the lines around it don't really fit. And i noticed u took chobits off ur list. (unless u found an idea for it that i happened to miss)

Excuse my rambling, but it does have purpose. That being...
Laz_the_white - "I Hate Everything About You" has not only been done 82 times, but it has been put to Love Hina at least four. Though I am a fan of that piece, I don't really like adding to fads. I'll steer clear of that song. Sorry.
Also, taking Chobits off the list wasn't a mistake. I did come up with an idea. To quote...well...MYSELF:
"Anyway, I did manage to come up with a song for Chobits! I'm going to use "Goodbye" by the Spice Girls. It would be a spoiler to talk about why I made that song choice, so I'll just say this: for those of you who have seen the series, think about the last two episodes. Yeah, that's what I'm gonna use. When I was cycling through my CDs recently, I popped the "Goodbye" single in my stereo (I used to be a rabid Spice Girls fan ^_~ .) As that was my favorite of all of their songs, I wondered if I could do anything AMV-wise with it. I listened to the song a few times on my computer while I was looking at the list I had made on this thread. When I saw Chobits, I was like: "Whoa. It's totally frickin' perfect!" So, this idea was born..."
As for "Time is Running Out," I can completely understand why you think of Chobits. Actually, that song fits perfectly, its just that your idea is catering to the darker side of that anime. Heck, you could use just the last two episodes to make a great video. By the way, Chobits is my second or third (it's tied with X) favorite anime of all time. Just thought you'd like to know that.
Lastly, after listening to "Good Thing," I've decided that I really like it. I'm still going to wait for more suggestions, but I may very well use that song for Ah! My Goddess. Like I've mentioned, all I need is a verse and a chorus, and I think that the first verse and chorus for that song work well. Also, it's more of a lighthearted song, which will be a nice change considering how serious most of the other sections are going to be. So, I'll keep thinking and waiting for more suggestions, but I do like that one.
I still don't have anymore ideas myself, so I'll end it here.

omg yes! i knew that idea would work.. i am a genius... who just happens to be lazy (sorry for not researching><).. and now that u quoted urself about chobits i remember reading that text, but i just didn't happen to remember at the time. i dun think i am gonna have any ideas for love hina tho.. sorry.

Anyway, just cuz I say I'm a fan of a particular genre, doesn't mean I'm going to adore every song from that genre. Yes, I like rock/metal, but straight screaming isn't music. "World of Promises" happens to sit on my upper edge of screaming tolerance. I still like the song, but it would never be a favorite. Also, I never said that I'd prefer rock/metal. I said, and I quote: "Okay, I know. It all looks like a bunch of rock/metal music, but I like any kind. That's just my favorite genre." Emphasize the fact that I said "I like any kind [of music.]" Still, thank you for the suggestion - your taste in music doesn't seem to run too far from mine, so I think if you can think of any other video-appropriate songs, we might click on one.
