Or wait for the release of the Instrumentality: Animasia project. The credit pictures are actually real photos.Koopiskeva wrote:I'm still gonna say bakadeshi is female till I meet bakadeshi |: ..
I, for one, have always thought that Bakadeshi was a guy. Maybe because I saw AR first?
Curiously, whenever I watch a sappy or really sentimental video, my first impulse is that the creator is a guy. Not sure why though...
I find it kinda funny that despite the somewhat stereotypically-girly themes of my videos, some people are still surprised when I clarify that I'm not a guy. Like this certain individual in our first encounter on AIM:

Your SN starts out with "Jasper," which in addition to being a gemstone is a boy's name.Jasper-Isis wrote:I find it kinda funny that despite the somewhat stereotypically-girly themes of my videos, some people are still surprised when I clarify that I'm not a guy. There are a lot of names that could be either. I used to go to school with a girl named Charlie and I thought Ryan was only a boy's name til I saw that girl on the first American Idol. So it's kinda hard to tell.Voices_Of_Ryan wrote:I think jaspers a cute name for a girl.SarahtheBoring wrote:Your SN starts out with "Jasper," which in addition to being a gemstone is a boy's name.Jasper-Isis wrote:I find it kinda funny that despite the somewhat stereotypically-girly themes of my videos, some people are still surprised when I clarify that I'm not a guy. Me myself haven't checked if my favorite vids are more from male or female editors. but it don't matter to me
I'm a female. I love video games, going online, going to concerts chatting, hanging out with friends, e-mailing, surfing the net for music, news, etc. And going on forums. And watching AMVS!! and creating them.
And I have my own computer so I have access to a computer anytime I want.
And there's probably more girls than you think that like doing that kind of stuff.

But then, Isis is a well-known female name...SarahtheBoring wrote:Your SN starts out with "Jasper," which in addition to being a gemstone is a boy's name.Jasper-Isis wrote:I find it kinda funny that despite the somewhat stereotypically-girly themes of my videos, some people are still surprised when I clarify that I'm not a guy. "Isis, the Egyptian goddess of rebirth remains one of the most familiar images of empowered and utter femininity....As the personification of the "complete female", Isis was called "The One Who Is All", Isis Panthea ("Isis the All Goddess"), and the "Lady of Ten Thousand Names".
"In...the Book of the Dead is found a Chapter...which was composed for the purpose of bestowing upon the deceased some of the magical power of the goddess. The Chapter was intended to be recited over an amulet called thet, made of carnelian, which had to be steeped in water of ankhami flowers, and set in a sycamore plinth, and if this were laid on the neck of a dead person it would place him under the protection of the words of power of Isis, and he would be able to go wheresoever he pleased in the Underworld."
Carnelian is in the same family of gemstones as jasper (red jasper).

Ay, what's with all these hidden connections in my name. I only picked it at the time because it sounded cool
Now back to the topic at hand...
The distribution of male and female creators over one's top 10 list may have something to do with taste? Does anybody think that either gender might tend to favor a certain type of fandom? [Probably a question with an obvious answer, but it's the best that I can get out at this hour. Heh.]
