Well
The problem i am having is getting them sent to england, anyone know a shop in england i can just walk into with a stock of the more obskure stuff.

wether you're in England or in France (like me), or anywhere else, it doesn't really matter, thanks to internet.
I usually purchase my dvds on eBay, where I can get them three times cheaper than in France (you have no idea how expensive it is in my country). As for now, I only received good quality products, with original dvd boxset, etc.
As I enjoy the english language, watchin my dvs in japanese subtitled in english is not a problem.
so, if you have internet (you must have it, as you are here), and if you speak english (you must speak english, as you are reading this), you have no problem to get any anime you want.
(oh, I forgot, you should also have a dvd player that doesn't give a damn about those silly areas compatibilies)
